Having strong anti-bacteria properties and strong anti-viral properties, lemon were consumed long back by the Eygptians to improve their immunity. Consisting of 22 anti-cancer compounds including limonene which helps spread of cancer and growth of tumors. Squeeze some lemon juice onto your salad, drink some lemon juice with some ginger or honey added to it, this drink fills us with a new freshness and boosts our immunity. As it aids in digestion and helps cleanse the liver,  lemon is used in weight loss programs for many years. In this times of corona virus spread, lemon is truly beneficial to us due to its many benefits. So what are they?

Citrus flavanoids helps improve digestion and hence drinking warm water mixed with lemon juice on an empty stomach early in the morning will help remove toxins and keep your body hydrated and also helps relieve heartburn and gastric problems.  The risk of peptic ulcer is reduced due to the vitamin C in lemon.
