Corona spread, weight
issues and weight loss- Part 2
In my previous post on weight loss, I had suggested
that honey, ginger, lemon are effective in weight loss. Interesting
combinations of these can bring about amazing results in weight loss.
Remedy No. 1-
In a cup of lukewarm
water, add 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of honey and 4 tablespoons of
lemon juice. After mixing them well, drinking this mixture everyday in the
morning is very helpful in weight loss. In black pepper, there is piperine
which helps prevent formation of new fat cells which leads to reduction of fat
in blood stream. Pectin fiber present in lemon helps prevent hunger and keeps
you full for longer periods of time and helps manage pH levels in the body. The
great levels of fructose in honey helps to produce glucose and increases the
release of fat burning hormones which burns excessive fat in the body.
Remedy No. 2-
Mix two tablespoons
of ginger juice with three tablespoons of honey and drink it two times a day
and it will instantly start helping in the reduction of weight loss. Ginger
helps suppress appetite and by raising the temperature of the body helps in
boosting metabolism which helps burn fat in a fast pace and thus helps in
weight loss.
Remedy No. 3-
Take some water and
boil 1 tablespoon of cinnamon for 10-15 minutes. After cooling it down, add
honey to it and drink the mixture. Make sure to add honey only after water
cools down. Since honey has a healthy glycemic index, it does not get absorbed
into the body like sugar. Cinnamon helps boost metabolism and increases the
energy level in the body and detoxifies body which inturn helps in weight loss.
Cinnamon also helps in improving the function of insulin and in balancing the
blood pressure.
Remedy No. 4-
Consuming a
tablespoon of virgin coconut oil regularly helps lose weight. Rich in fatty
acids, coconut oil helps reduce weight in a natural way. As it is healthy,
cooking in coconut oil generally boosts the health of the body. So it is great
to add coconut oil to your curries.
Remedy No. 5-
I have already stated that
cinnamon is effective in weight loss and it would be wonderful if you can add
it your recipes too. Cinnamon helps reduce weight and thus prevents obesity. It
is also effective in reducing heart problems and is also good for diabetic
patients.
Remedy No. 6-
When you
cook food or make some salad make sure to add some black pepper to it as black
pepper packed with the compound piperine helps in reduction of lipids and fats
in the body which further helps in weight loss. You can even add some black
pepper to tea, it gives a unique flavor.
Remedy No. 7-
Now this must have gotten you
surprised, but apple which contains good quantity of fiber helps balance the
sugar levels and gets rid of extra fat and the hunger is also satiated. Apple
contains pectin which helps in reduction of cholesterol and in retention of
water.
Remedy
No. 8-
What? Curry leaves? You may ask. But truly curry
leaves helps aid in weight loss as it is very effective in boosting digestion
and controlling of cholesterol levels which helps reduce weight naturally.
Maybe that is the reason why in curries, curry leaves were added by our great
grandmother, our grandmothers and mothers. So when you make a curry, make sure
to add some curry leaves too. It adds fragrance and flavor to your recipes.
