Corona spread, weight issues and weight loss- Part 1
Corona is taking over the lives of everybody world over and though we are fighting the pandemic, but the issues of social distancing keeps governments all over the world, put people in lockdown. In the situation of lock down, inactivity leads to building up of fat in the body and obesity and gain of weight. In such a situation, since we are unable to go out to workout, we are forced to turn to home remedies to sort the weight problems. Since these home remedies are natural, they will not cause harm to your body and hence you can try them any time you want at home.

Remedy No. 1 - Green Tea:

Increases immunity



Now this is the most simple and easiest means of losing weight. Just boiling some green tea leaves in water, adding some honey and squeezed lemon drops and sipping green tea gives amazing results in weight loss. In green tea there is the compound epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) which prevents weight gain and obesity by limits fat absorption and improves the capacity of the body to use fat for producing energy that is required to carry out various activities. Green tea is rich in nutrients and minerals and is an overall healthy drink. Try to drink atleast two cups of green tea per day and you will see the result very soon.

Remedy No. 2- Warm water+ Honey+ Lemon Juice

Easy for weight loss


Early morning after waking up, boil some water, add a few drops of honey and lemon juice and drink it and you will soon see effective results in weight loss. This is perhaps the second most simple method to reduce weight. Try it and see.

Remedy No. 3- Hot water

Before and after your regular meals, drink hot water. Hot water helps flush out the fat from the body and helps in wonderful ways in reducing weight. So if you are presently drinking cold water, switch to hot water. Make sure to leave a span of half an hour between the meals and the drinking of hot water and you can see the difference.
Remedy No. 4- Cucumber
Did you know that cucumber contains 90% of water and just 13.25 calories? Since this vegetable rich in vitamin A, C and E is filled with water, usage of cucumber helps to cut down fat in the body and helps increase energy in your body and makes you feel light weight and also helps flush out toxins from your body.

Remedy No. 5- Aloe Vera

Good for heart and liver


Most of the houses now-a-days have Aloe Vera in the garden. It is already used as a beauty product, but did you know it has health benefits too? Drinking a glass of fresh Aloe Vera juice in the morning can help reduce weight.  Aloe Vera helps in digestion and is good for the heart and liver.
Remedy No. 6-  Papaya


Vitamin C

In almost every house compound, there could be atleast one papaya tree. It is  a delicious fruit rich in Vitamin C, and has soluble dietary fiber that helps in easing movement of bowels and removal of waste from the body. So make sure to eat some fresh ripe papaya pieces in place of junk food in the evenings.
Remedy No. 7-  Ginger


Best for digestion and weight loss


In kitchen, you can find this amazing root and before you say ginger smells bad, know this that it has amazing health benefits. Consuming ginger can help you feel full very fast and reduces your hunger and is an amazing remedy for weight loss. So while making your curries, make sure to either chop some ginger into small pieces and add or maybe make a paste and add it. Not just in weight loss, ginger is also very effective in digestion and also when you have throat pain, adding finger to tea and consuming helps your throat feel better. Maybe if you like it, you can make a ginger tea and sip it, but make sure not to add milk to the tea, you can add some drops of honey to make this ginger tea taste better.
